- About
Please support the children and staff at Christ Church & Holy Trinity C of E Primary Schools who are proudly walking from Hampton Court Palace to Christ Church School on Saturday 13th May, in celebration of the King's Coronation. We will be walking a total of 13 miles but there will be 3 starting points to choose from along the way so please do come along, wave us off and take part, everyone is welcome.
We will be raising funds for our Creative Classrooms, to enhance and enrich our pupils' education and complement the curriculum. Items we will purchase will include digital cameras, annual subscriptions, playtime equipment, art, drama, music and gardening resources as well as funding class trips, specialist artists and visitors. Outstanding classrooms are central to the happiness and success of all children. Creative environments revolve around excellent teaching and learning but the importance of resources is paramount. The inclusion of a range of exciting books, toys and IT ensure the lessons are interactive, engaging and accessible for all learners and that the learning opportunities will be imaginative, innovative and collaborative. Planning for visitors to come into our schools and share their expertise is such an important part of bringing the curriculum to life and going on school trips offers the children a unique cultural learning experience, encouraging curiosity, while music and drama have such a positive impact on a child's physical, emotional and social wellbeing as well as cognitive development.
